Internet Explorer
  1. Select Tools from the menu at the top of the browser window.
     
  2. Select Internet Options from the drop-down list.
     
  3. On the Internet Options window that comes up, click the Security tab.
     
  4. On the Security tab, click the Custom Level button near the bottom of the window.
     
  5. On the Security Settings window that comes up, scroll down until you see the Scripting section.
     
  6. In the Scripting section, enable the Active Scripting option by clicking the circle.
    (If it's already enabled, then you should not have gotten this page.)
     
  7. Click the OK and Yes buttons until you get back to the browser window.
Netscape
(Mozilla similar)


FireFox

• Click Tools in menu bar
• Options
• Content
• Enable JavaScript
• OK

  1. Select Edit from the menu at the top of the browser window.
     
  2. Select Preferences... from the drop-down list.
     
  3. On the Preferences window that comes up, find the list of Categories on the left side of the window.
     
  4. Click the Advanced category, near the bottom of the list.
     
  5. The Advanced preferences will appear in the right part of the Preferences window. Set the Enable JavaScript option by clicking the box. (If it's already enabled, then you should not have gotten this page.)
     
  6. Click the OK button at the bottom of the window.
